The "Play-Smart" PlaySchool at Hot Shots!

 It is a MAGICAL journey to be a 2-3 year old!  

It is a WONDERFUL experience to be a 4-5 year old!    

Where Kids Fit celebrates these incredibly unique SEASONS of life with a curriculum designed, not to make them into something they aren't ready to be, but to embrace and engage who, what, and where they are!  By empowering them to completely embrace the wonder of the playschool experience, we will help them reach their full potential, one developmentally-appropriate step at a time!

Academically, we engage our kids through dramatic play, storytelling, games, singing, artisitic expression, music, MOVING, and so much more, ensuring that our students have developmentally-appropriate, "hands on" opportunities for INTENTIONAL LEARNING through the kind of "play" that is the true "work" of childhood! And they LOVE it!

Athletically, we encourage and challenge our kids through a daily curriculum of individual and group play options. By creating play opportunities that focus on the primary areas of visual perception, cross lateral movement, and both dynamic and static balance, "Play-Smart" enhances the brain-body connection, resulting in increased cognition, balanced brain chemistry, positive self-esteem, increased brain cell development, improved spatial skills, and a faster cognitive response time.  Our kids learn to play SMARTER!  And, of course, there will be daily FREE PLAY time for kids to just be...

Spiritually, we want to help develop the fitness of their hearts, just as we we have helped developed the fitness of their heads and hands. Through a weekly Chapel time, our kids learn to create "sacred space" within their playschool community, including a time for group prayer, singing, and a short, student-participatory teaching, designed to help students identify the blessings God has given them and discern where those gifts are needed the most!
